The 4th Annual Shoulder Check Showcase was our biggest yet — and the numbers speak for themselves.
2,700 fans packed Sacred Heart University's Martire Family Arena for a night of hockey, community, and connection. That's 50% more than last year. And the energy inside the arena matched every bit of it.
26 NHL and PWHL players took to the ice. Hockey Hall of Fame trophies were on display on the midway. Gritty graced us with his presence. The Zambonis played live out front. And from the opening faceoff to the final buzzer, the message was clear: Reach Out. Check In. Make Contact.

THE REACH
The Showcase didn't stay in Fairfield.
NHL Network broadcast the full two-hour event and will air it multiple times throughout the summer. MSG Network produced a mini-documentary airing during Rangers preseason.
On Instagram alone, the past 30 days generated nearly 2 million views, 43,000 interactions, and 20,000 accounts engaged.
THE impact
The community showed up — and so did our supporters.
Merch sold out within hours. The teal mock neck sweatshirts were gone in under an hour. Players recognized the mission, connected with the community, and left with genuine interest in coming back.
And thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors and ticket buyers, the 2026 Showcase was net-positive — with funds already being reinvested into next year's event.
2025 Shoulder Check Showcase — Stamford, CT
The 3rd Annual Shoulder Check Showcase was our biggest event yet. Over 2,000 fans filled Terry Conners Rink, with 5,000 more tuning in online from around the world. NHL All-Stars, hockey creators, and our amazing community came together for an unforgettable night of skill, heart, and connection.
From the opening skills showcase to the final buzzer, the energy in the rink was electric—and the message was clear: Reach Out, Check In, Make Contact.
